That’s right. I’ve been a “temp” Captain at work for about three and 1/2 years now and was just made permanent. Starfleet Personell makes this change official sometime between April 1st and May 1st. The Captain is very excited! New laptops for everyone!!! Ok, must calm down. deep breaths So what does the Captain get? Vacation, health and mo’ money. I’m sure there’s more, but not sure yet.

Spread the word to any Officers and crew members who may not keep regular tabs on the Captain’s Blog. Emails will be sent tonight from the Captain’s Quarters of Starbase 3805. : D

I tried looking for a link to take the Myers Briggs test online but didn’t find anything, just a bunch of discussions about the results. Anyways, I took this test when I was like 18 and still remember the results. I think reading the breakdown of my personality type still rings true today. Any of you that have wondered why I am the way I am may get a better understanding from reading the first link. : ) If anyone has a link to the test itself…feel free to post it!

First they moved it to Sunday night at 8pm, then they axed it! It is one of the few shows out there now that has any kind of merit or value. Once again, we see that reality tv is edging out anything that would make you think. But you know what? We think too much anyway. I say it’s high time we just do away with this thinking thing altogether. : P

Aww yeah. The new Firefox is out!! Version 1.5 baby. I have been clinging to Mozilla proper for a while now and only really used Firefox version 1.0, but let me tell you 1.5 fulfils almost all my hopes, dreams and expectations. One thing I actually thought of myself as a feature was the ability to sort tabs within the browser window. And guess what? Now you can!! Woo hoo! (oh yeah, I’m way too excited about this heh heh) And the import feature works seamlessly too. I imported all my Mozilla settings and bookmarks with no troubles at all. And Firefox is pretty fast too. One thing Mozilla couldn’t do was allow you to right-click a bookmark to delete or modify it…Firefox does. I was wanting that feature also. Certain web pages render much more nicely under Firefox also. And one thing that can’t be overlooked in simplicity. Firefox was sooo easy to setup and configure. The options have been reworked and are now better organized.
